A good friend of mine has been growing her hair for many years, in order to donate it to charity. For 2 years now, we’ve been talking about shooting some portraits of her, and she wanted to do it before she got all that long, golden hair cut off.
Well, we finally got ourselves organised and used the holiday period, while she was in town, and we had unlimited daylight hours at our disposal, to do it!
We trekked out to Bungendore on a worryingly overcast afternoon, to a friend’s farm, where we coaxed the lovely, gentle giant, ‘Sir’ Galahad to model for us. The sun broke just in time and gave us a good 2 hours of light before setting below the golden hills.
These are just some of my favourites from the day….

Beautiful photos! I love the coloring and lighting of the pictures. I also love the outfit she’s wearing; it goes really well with the coloring and feel of the pictures.

I also love the second last one very much!!!……that moment of “HEY! what’s that!?!? from both of them….so sponteaneous……but I also love the first….and the third….and…..and……….
